A short biography
The other pages set out the work. This one covers the background behind it: where he is from, what he studied, and the interests that shape how he works.

Born in London, with Afghan roots on one side and Pakistani roots on the other. He read Business Management & Finance at Kingston University, a degree built on measurement and analysis, and has worked that way ever since.
He advises business clients on commercial and corporate finance, asset finance in particular: funding for vehicles and equipment. Alongside that he builds websites for firms whose published wording has to survive a compliance review. Both disciplines reward the same thing: say it plainly, then stand behind it.
He is straightforward about the work. Clients are told what a project will take, what it will cost, and what it will not solve.

Two roots, one city
Born and based in London
Born in London and still based here. Commercial finance and web development in parallel, on the view that the most persuasive thing a regulated firm can publish is a page telling the reader what it costs.
The Afghan side
The Afghan side of the family, where hospitality is treated as a discipline, and where a household can be rebuilt from very little by whoever is willing to do the unglamorous part properly.
The Pakistani side
The Pakistani side, and a second set of customs in the same household. Between them, clear evidence that starting from nothing is a skill like any other: practised, then possessed.
BSc Business Management & Finance
Business analytics, information systems, and an introduction to programming that led directly into a career in technology.

Martial arts
Follows every UFC card and trains the disciplines underneath it: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai. The mats teach one lesson weekly — stay calm, protect yourself, and there is no shortcut past the fundamentals.
Five-a-side
A standing fixture with the same people every week. He plays box-to-box, or intends to; the fixture is the point rather than the football.
NFL Sundays
Followed from London, which means late nights and a working knowledge of every time zone. A game built on measurement and planning appeals to the finance half.
Padel
Taken up early and played regularly. Fast, sociable, and easily fitted around a working week — three things his diary requires of a sport.
Gaming
A long-standing Call of Duty player, Zombies in particular, and has reached round one hundred. Round-based survival rewards resource management and patience under pressure.
Cars
A genuine enthusiast — engineering, design, and the history behind the marques. Asset finance means he also knows precisely what each one costs to own, and enjoys them regardless.
Archery
Taken up for the precision and kept for the quiet. A discipline in which the only variable worth correcting is the one holding the bow.
Taking things apart
Took his first telephone apart to see how it worked and built a crypto miner at fifteen. The same instinct now decides how a website is assembled.
Green chai
Taken at length, and offered to anyone who sits down. The Afghan household rule: the guest is served first and the conversation is not hurried.
